Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell novel gets back again with a new title , called " Conviction " which is the same title the next game is using . The author is David Michaels – pseudonym , the real name of the author is Grant Blackwood – who wrote the two previous novels " Checkmate and Fallout " which released in 2006 , 2007 . It’s the first time the novel uses the title which the game uses , and it seems that the events will be as same as the game’s events which will release in the same month . The strange thing is that the author will release another novel , called " Endgame " in November 24 , 2009 which also was listed in Amazon website , and it seems that it will be a " completion " of Conviction story and the end of the story of splinter cell which maybe also an indication for the end of the story of the game series . Nothing is confirmed about the Game’s story , but just speculations .
