58 teams signed up for the Consoles EU online Halo3 €600 4v4 Tournament. Teams have been clashing in the brackets for the last couple of months to see who will stand in the winner’s bracket, who will fall to loser’s and who will drop out of the tournament altogether. This week, Activision is offering up the 2nd of 3 track packs for Guitar Hero World Tour in July, this time with music from Vagrant Records. Here are the songs in the pack:
Thrice – "All The World Is Mad"
Alexisonfire – "Young Cardinals"
Senses Fail – "The Martyr"
The Vagrant Records Track Pack is available now via Xbox LIVE Marketplace for 440 Microsoft Points and from the PlayStation Store for $5.49. The songs are also available as singles for 160 Microsoft Points, $1.99 from the PlayStation Store and 200 Wii Points.

At a panel for his upcoming film Avatar, James Cameron announced that August 21st will be Avatar Day. The fake-ass holiday will see the debut of Avatar: The Game’s first trailer, among other things.

You probably heard already that Microsoft’s 343 Industries is working a series of anime short-films based on the Halo universe, called Halo Legends. However, if you were under the impression that you’d be learning some profound or shocking details about Master Chief’s storyline in the films, you’re about to be disappointed.
With regards to what fans can expect from Legends, 343 Industries’ creative director Frank O’Connor (and former Bungie big brain), confirmed during the Comic-Con 09 Halo panel, "There’s a few nuggets in [Halo Legends] about Master Chief’s future," however, "We don’t go much further than the end of Halo 3."

Sex scenes in upcoming role-playing shooter Alpha Protocol are "satisfying" but "tasteful", developer Obsidian has said.
Speaking to VideoGamer.com, Obsidian programming producer Nathan Davis confirmed no gameplay elements will be involved.
Video game sex is currently in vogue, with US RPG developer BioWare in particular happy to include sex scenes in its games.
2007’s Mass Effect allowed player characters, male and female, to have sex with computer-controlled male humans and female aliens, without showing full-frontal nudity.
