I just bought an xbox 360 and the cables have 4 plugs one branch has a red white and yellow plug and the other branch has green blue and some other color. I was wondering what these different plugs are as the original xbox only has 3 plugs and if i buy an hdmi cable, which color plugs have to be plugged into the tv?

I have seen in stores where you can buy xbox 360 controllers for your computer. However these are aound $70. 00. I already have a 360 and several controllers is it possible to buy a connector somewhere so I can just use those controllers instead of buying a specified one?
